Hi , please could anyone tell me what the difference is in the 1210 cal , and the 1225 cal , on a Rolex precision movement, thanksThe 1210 was one of the last of these manual wind movements, unlike the original 10½ movement it features shock protection on the balance & escape pivots. These movements usually feature 17 jewels, and were used in the 3038 series of 'Pre-Cellini' watches.
In short: Rolex Precision means that the movement is not COSC certified. The two primary watches on which you’ll find the text “Precision” printed on the dials are Oysterdate Precision and Oyster Precision.
