Is it possible, using the same techniques that have given us our beautiful Lockheed Lodestars, to convert Manfred's equally beautiful L-749's and L-1049's to native models? I understand (I think) the effort that would be required - but if there is no obstacle to the conversion, then I encourage a similar team effort.

FSX textures only for the Douglas_C-47_BETA_v3.1404 (Updated) by Manfred Jahn, with VVC by Jan Visser and team. Depicted is DC-3C, "ZK-AOD", in service with. Two reasons - 1) it's much better than default, and 2), the default aliases sounds from the default DC-3, so if you want to use default sounds, you'll have to copy the DC-3 sound folder from FSX over to P3D. But as I said, that's a clear second choice. The TuFun soundpack is way, way better. Manfred Jahn and his team have released a new update for their great freeware Douglas C-47 that features PBR textures for the exterior model and A2A's rain effects.
