I think you need to indicate which movement you're talking about. My P5000 averages about +6/day, which isn't great, but forgivable (and expected) given that the power reserve is 8 days. For a long power reserve, the balance is obviously going to receive a stronger impulse when it's fully wound vs. in the last day.

Before purchase I read very much mixed reviews on panerai’s p5000 movement, but couldn’t find much chatter on it post 2020. Some said it ran fast, others said it was wildly inaccurate, some said theirs was spot on.
I own a Panerai but opted for their model with reliable movement, Calibre OP II on pam005. at this stage i will not buy their model with so called "in house" movement. I will reserved my money to other brand with time tested "in house" movement" (e.g., Rolex)
